Sambhra is a small village of 3722 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sambhra depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sambhra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Sambhra's pin code is 344032[4], and village code is 02137700. The area of Sambhra is segregated as 748.75 hectares unirrigated, remaining 2973.34 hectare area not available for cultivation.
