Samariya is a small village of 799 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samariya depends on Bhawani Mandi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 155.06% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals. Samariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Samariya's pin code is 326513[4], and village code is 04103000. The area of Samariya is segregated as 193.76 hectares irrigated area, 416.91 hectares unirrigated, the 133.54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 55.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Samariya is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1799 and has total administration over 380 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhawani Mandi and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
