Samara Sahni (born March 23, 2011) is the daughter of Indian fashion designer and entrepreneur Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and businessman Bharat Sahni. She is a member of the prominent Kapoor family, one of the most influential families in the Indian film industry. Samara is the granddaughter of legendary actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, and the niece of actor Ranbir Kapoor.[1]

Samara Sahni was born on March 23, 2011, in New Delhi, India. She is the only child of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, a fashion designer and daughter of Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, and Bharat Sahni, a Delhi-based businessman. Her maternal uncle is Ranbir Kapoor, a leading actor in Hindi cinema.
Samara belongs to the Kapoor family, a multi-generational film dynasty that traces its roots back to Prithviraj Kapoor, considered one of the pioneers of Indian theatre and film.
Relation to the Kapoor family legacy
As a descendant of the Kapoor family, Samara is part of a significant legacy in Indian cinema. Her great-grandfather, Raj Kapoor, was a legendary actor and filmmaker.
