Samantha Mogwe (born 1988) in Gaborone, Botswana is a Radio Presenter, Poet, songwriter and singer of Neo soul|neo-soul and R&B music.[1][2]
Life
Samantha Mogwe is born to a Zambian mother and a Motswana father from Serowe.[3] She is a wife and a mother to a baby boy.[4]She has a Degree in Theology from Baptist Theological College in Rustenburg and she also studied music at Trinity College of London.[1][4]
Carrier
Samantha started her music from an early age, her first performance was with My African Dream in 2003, in 2004 she became the winner of Gabz Karioke Idols and in 2008 she was the only representative for Botswana at African Idols and she made it to the top 24. She released her first album dubbed Transition in 2015[1]. In 2018 she released a new single called "secrets".[5] In 2021 she released visuals for the song "Beautiful".[6]In 2022 August she released a single called "Oxygen"[7] and in November she released the EP titled VII.[8]
