Sam Efrus was a movie producer and film company president. He served as president of Peerless Pictures Corporation. He was involved in filmmaking from the 1920s to the 1940s.[1][2] He was the executive producer of several films innthe late 1920s.[3] He produced two films featuring Lightnin, a "police dog".[1] J. H. Hoffberg acquired and reissued several Peerless films in the 1940s.[4]
He was the general manager of Sun Motion Pictures in New York City.[5] Efrus was treasurer of Madoc Sales Company.[6] His home in New York City was robbed.[7]
