Salwari is a small village of 727 hectares in Sri Madhopur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Salwari depends on Khandela, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 171.33% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Salwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Salwari's pin code is 332709[4], and village code is 01723500. The area of Salwari is segregated as 171.33 hectares irrigated area, 245.55 hectares unirrigated, the 126.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
