Salriya Kalan is a small village of 1106 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Salriya Kalan depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 53.39% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Salriya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Salriya Kalan's pin code is 311401[4], and village code is 02828900. The area of Salriya Kalan is segregated as 102.29 hectares irrigated area, 302.4 hectares unirrigated, the 543.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 158.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhilwara to sell bricks and make their living.
