Salri is a small village of 734 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Salri depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 231.86% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Salri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Salri's pin code is 326036[4], and village code is 04097000. The area of Salri is segregated as 231.86 hectares irrigated area, 264.8 hectares unirrigated, the 97.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 140.48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Salri is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2100 and has total administration over 420 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
