Salimpur is a small village of 280 hectares in Mahwa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Salimpur depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 60.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Salimpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Salimpur's pin code is 321608[4], and village code is 01367400. The area of Salimpur is segregated as 150 hectares irrigated area, 36 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 90 hectare area not available for cultivation.
