Dr. Abdussalam A.K (better known by Salam Koduvally) is a botanist who worked on Plant Physiology. He published several papers in botany. He also worked on Plant physiology and Biochemistry, Microbiology and Instrumentation, Ethnobotany, Angiosperm Taxonomy (biology), and Environmental science. He Published 27 (International /National) papers. He has published a number of books on Botany.

Biography

Salam Koduvally was born Dr. Abdussalam Ayikkuttil Kizhakkoth in 1980 at Koduvally, a village in Kozhikode district in the south Indian state of Kerala, did his early schooling at the Koduvally U P School in Koduvally. Subsequently, he completed his college studies at University of Calicut, Calicut, Kozhikode and started his career as a teacher. Later he moved to University of Calicut as a research assistant and after securing a Ph.D. 3 Year 10 Month 23 Days he worked as an Academic Coordinator in MAP Education, Kerala. Formerly he worked as an Academic Council Member, University of Calicut, Students Union Chairman, Calicut University Campus, Academic Coordinator, Wisdom Education, United Arab Emirates–United Kingdom relations, UK, OMAN & INDIA, Academic Director, Map Education, Kerala, Research Fellow, M.S.SwamiNathan Research Foundation, Chennai and Wayanad district, Mehfil Media Vision, Calicut. Presently he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Botany, Sir Syed College (Taliparamba), Taliparamba, Kannur, Kerala.
