Sakriya is a small village of 597 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sakriya depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Sakriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sakriya's pin code is 327025[4], and village code is 03414300. The area of Sakriya is segregated as 98 hectares irrigated area, 320 hectares unirrigated, the 63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 115.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sakriya is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1971 and has total administration over 377 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell juggary and make their living.
