Sakatpura is a small village of 274 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sakatpura depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 39.17% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sakatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sakatpura's pin code is 304021[4], and village code is 02625100. The area of Sakatpura is segregated as 39.17 hectares irrigated area, 161.15 hectares unirrigated, the 48.73 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.
