Sakarawas is a small village of 924 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sakarawas depends on RAJSAMAND, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 121.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sakarawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sakarawas's pin code is 313329[4], and village code is 03028900. The area of Sakarawas is segregated as 121 hectares irrigated area, 580 hectares unirrigated, the 156 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67 hectare area not available for cultivation.
