Sakar Pura is a small village of 161.9 hectares in Bansdih Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sakar Pura depends on Bansdih (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 56.00% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,One canal and One spring. Sakar Pura is also near byOne lake.
