Sahjasar is a small village of 2027 hectares in Sardarshahar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sahjasar depends on TARANAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Sahjasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Sahjasar's pin code is 331403[4], and village code is 00606100. The area of Sahjasar is segregated as 1879.54 hectares unirrigated, the 57.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 89.41 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TARANAGAR and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
