Sahara Khurd is a small village of 217.5 hectares in Iglas Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sahara Khurd depends on Iglas (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sahara Khurd's pin code is 202124[4], and village code is 01400400. The area of Sahara Khurd is segregated as 192.9 hectares irrigated area, 1.2 hectares unirrigated area. the 6.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.
