Sagwariya is a small village of 598 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sagwariya depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Sagwariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sagwariya's pin code is 327025[4], and village code is 03411300. The area of Sagwariya is segregated as 226 hectares irrigated area, 74 hectares unirrigated, the 254 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 44 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sagwariya has One post office (Sagwadiya B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Sagwariya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sagwariya is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1913 and has total administration over 374 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell ghee and make their living.
