Sagroon is a small village of 1042 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sagroon depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sagroon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sagroon's pin code is 313322[4], and village code is 03047800. The area of Sagroon is segregated as 14 hectares irrigated area, 193 hectares unirrigated, the 463 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 372 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sagroon is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2008 and has total administration over 406 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
