Saghapur is a small village of 83 hectares in Allapur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Saghapur depends on Akbarpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Saghapur's pin code is 224137[4], and village code is 06073000. The area of Saghapur is segregated as 61.04 hectares irrigated area. the 5.01 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 16.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.
