Sagatpura is a small village of 443 hectares in Nainwa Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sagatpura depends on INDRAGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sagatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sagatpura's pin code is 323616[3], and village code is 02722400. The area of Sagatpura is segregated as 136 hectares irrigated area, 257 hectares unirrigated, the 36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14.38 hectare area not available for cultivation.
