Sadawata is a small village of 918 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sadawata depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sadawata is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Sadawata's pin code is 342301[4], and village code is 01920300. The area of Sadawata is segregated as 61.08 hectares irrigated area, 799.05 hectares unirrigated, the 42.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sadawata is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1007 and has total administration over 159 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell woolen blanket and make their living.
