SaMoMusic: born 21 September 1990) is an Iranian Dj, singer, songwriter, and music producer. He has produced music for various artists including , who is also a singer-songwriter.

Early life

Hossein Mohammadi is also known as Saman Mohammadi is a Persian musician who is internationally known as SaMoMusic or DJ Samo. He was born in the city of Rasht, north of Iran, in 1990.

Career

He began learning cello from his mother, who has a luminous record in the national orchestra, at a young age, and also mastered his vocal under the supervision of Master Mohammad Nouri. on the strength of his derivative affection for music, he began to play guitar and piano independently. He gradually developed these two instruments with the assistance of qualified musical instrument players. At the age of 25, he succeeded In inventing a new instrument called shahtoor. This instrument is comparative to Santur but covers more space and octave. His foremost official music was released at an early age, which was called el-temas (التماس), which caused a lot of impact in those years. Later on, he released four more songs, but in view of the fact that the gap in release dates was extended, about a year apart, it was not attended much.[2]

At the same time, he acquired a master's level in music, later that year, he initiated his first studio called Ofogh. He has composed a respective amount of songs in his career in collaboration with prominent musicians such as roozbeh nematollahi, masoud saeedi, ali as’habi, bewer izzet,[3] and also several Arabic and Kurdish musicians.

He has composed and produced a lot of music in his career and so far, has featured in numerous TV shows such as Dast to Dast (Tehran television)[4] and Mahe Tamam (IRIB5 TV),[5] as well as his live performances throughout his career. Starting at a very young age and upon establishing his first-ever studio at the age of 17, He felt confident sufficiently in his mastery and capabilities as his compositions became an instant hit in Asian countries. Due to a lack of career opportunities in his own country, he decided to move to Dubai, where his career took off, so he had the chance to be introduced to famous DJs and producers. Now He lives in Erbil where he performed as a DJ in inferno club from 2018 to 2022, Hera club after 2022 . He has remixed works of well-known Arabic and Persian singers such as Jafar al Ghazal,[6] Nassif Zeytoon,[7] Aseel Hameem ,[8] Masih & Arash Ap,[9] Sogand,[10] Amir Tataloo,[11] Shervin Hajipour,[12] etc. Recently Samo has been pursuing his long-lived dream of producing minimal melodious Techno and officially featured his art in the techno show.[13] He’s so proud of the fact that he can intercommunicate with people on a spiritual level through his creations and crafts, that’s what makes him stand out in a saturated crowd of DJs.
