Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Persad developed an interest in entrepreneurship at an early age and started his first successful business venture aged just 13.[1] His media company called WSHHU grew to over six figures by the age of 17 and helped him build a substantial social following. Persad was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in childhood, he realized that he could use his social media following to bring a positive social impact, and so he changed his social media handles to ADHD RYAN to bring awareness for the condition and help people with mental health issues.[2]

Persad is often covered by the high-tier news publications including Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, Huffington Post and Inc. (magazine) for his stock market strategies.[3] He has received Top 10 percent: Global Financial Literacy Award and is also a Forbes Council member.

Early life and education

Persad was born on 10 December 1999 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in childhood. He was told that he has a learning disability and was often made feel outcast. With a strong will Persad reclaimed his narrative and sees his ADHD as a core part of his identity.

Career

At the age of 13, Persad first started his first successful business venture. His media company called WSHHU grew to over six figures by the age of 17 and he soon got noticed. Persad realized that he could bring a positive impact to help people with mental health issues. He changed all of his social handles to ADHD RYAN to bring awareness.

When Persad turned 18, he got inclined to the stock market and started deep learning to draw insights that can bring maximum returns while minimizing the risk during the trade. He had a beginner’s luck on his side and was able to make a substantial income in the initial year of stock market trading. Persad realized that he needs to diversify and at the age of 19, he became a licensed realtor.

He has founded a company Options League, a company that provides training to help others so that they can achieve financial freedom. Most of their members are able to make their fee back in the initial week and nearly 10 times of fee in the first month.

Next year, Persad turned the tables by generating seven figures as a full time stock market trader. In an interview, he shared that ADHD has enabled him to thrive in a notoriously tricky industry with expertise and think of the box.

Others

Persad has founded Unique Brainz, an organization that works to bring awareness for mental health. It is sponsored by Persad and his company, Options League. They donate 75% of all revenue generated from members' fees to the organization.
