Rudolph Wichmann

Rudolph Wichmann(born 19 August 1826 in Berlin; died 3 January 1900 in Nahmgeist) was a German. landowner, farmer and politician for the German Conservative Party.

Life

Wichmann went to school at Friedrich Wilhelm Gymnasium in Berlin. He studied in Berlin, in Heidelberg and at an agrarian academy in Möglin. In 1852, he bought castle Nahmgeist in East Prussia, where he worked as a farmer and landowner. From 1877 to 1893 Wichmann was member of German Reichstag (German Empire).[1][2]
