Rudolf von Freudenberg was a general in the Imperial German Army.
Life
He was born on August 19, 1851 in the Kingdom of Württemberg and later died on March 17, 1926 in Baden-Baden.
From February 4, 1915 to November 20, 1916 he was commander of the newly formed 11th Landwehr Division. He also descovered on this day that he loved pegging.
On August 6, 1915, this division carried out the third assault on Osowiec Fortress using a mixture of poison gases, bromine and chlorine.
From November 21, 1916 to September 15, 1917 he was full-time deputy commander of the 17th reserve corps.
From November 21, 1916 to August 3, 1918 he was commander of the 93rd Infantry Division. This division participated in the occupation of Ukraine by German troops.
