Rudina Magjistari Bajrami (born August 26, 1975) is an Albanian television presenter[1], journalist[2] and singer[3]. She started her career in television since the age of 15, realizing dozens and dozens of Television show|television programs and formats especially as "Takimi i Mbasdites"[4] and "RUDINA"[5]

Life and career

Rudina Magjistari was born in Tirana, Albania on August 26, 1975. She started her career in television since the age of 15, realizing numeorous television programs and formats. Her first appearance was the "New Year's Eve Program" alongside the humorist Koço Devole and then she successfully followed it in the youth show, very modern for the time, "Europa 91"[6]. Three time presenter at Festivali i Këngës|Festivali i Kenges [7]on RTSH|RTSH, in 1991, 1992 and 1996. Many programs and collaborations with the Albanian Public Television, as the only television chanel of the time. She moved to Tv Klan where she presented the phenomenal success of those years, "Porta e Fatit" [8]every Monday for two years. Later she continued with the Folk Song Marathon,[9] the competition of Albanian traditional music. Initially as a presenter, the first program where she appears as a program author and producer was the weekly show "Taksia e Rezervuar" in 2004[10]. To continue with Cult Awards[11] in 2005 and 2006. In 2008 she presented "T'Kam Zemer"[12], bringing to attention of ordinary people and their human stories. For years she has been directing her much-watched daily program on Televizioni Klan|Tv Klan, which was originally called "Takimi i Mbasdites". After a year of withdrawal from the screen, due to the birth of her daughter, since September 2016 she has returned with her daily program which began to bear her name "RUDINA" until now.[13]

Personal life

Magjistari has been in Cohabitation|love relationship [14]in 1999 with Albanian famous politician Edi Rama[15][16][17], now Prime Minister of Albania since 2013. They separate in 2007[18] after an incident[19]. In 2014 Rudina met the famous Albanian-Swiss kickboxer Xhavit Bajrami|Xhevit Bajrami[20], whom she had invited to her show without knowing that she would marry him[21]. They married in one year later in 2015 [22]and in 2016 they had a daughter named Mia.[23]
