Ruben Cantero Clemente (born 12 June 2004) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Segunda Federación club CD Calahorra, on loan from fellow Segunda Federación side Barcelona Atlètic.

He was born on 12 June 2004 in Caudete, Albacete, Castilla La Mancha, Spain.
Club Career:
Early Career:
Before 2022, he played for the youth sides of his hometown club, Albacete Balompié.
Barcelona:
On July 29th, 2022, Cantero signed for Barcelona, initially being assigned to the u19 squad (Juvenil A). He played some games in the 2022-23 UEFA Youth League, before being promoted to Barcelona Atlètic, the club’s reserve side, the following season.
Loan to CD Calahorra:
After being promoted, he was loaned to fellow Segunda Federación side CD Calahorra on August 15th, 2023. He was assigned the #3 jersey, and played a total of 32 games for the club. He was an integral player for the club, earning the “Man of the Match” award four times, including against CD Brea.
