Roz Kelly is an Australian television sports journalist.[1]

Kelly currently works for the Nine Network where she covers major sporting events for Nine's Wide World of Sports, hosts Sports Sunday and presents the sport on the Friday and Saturday editions of Nine News Sydney.[2]

Since graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2005, Kelly has worked at Seven Queensland, Fox Sports (Australia), Sky News Australia, Network 10 and the Nine Network, chiefly as a sports reporter and presenter.[1] This included occasionally reading the sport on Nine's breakfast program, Today (Australian TV program). In 2013, Kelly received some international media attention after falling victim to an teleprompter prank orchestrated by Today host Karl Stefanovic.[3][4][5]

Among the sporting events of which Kelly has covered for the various networks are the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2014 Commonwealth Games, the Big Bash League, The Ashes, the Australian Grand Prix, Bathurst 1000, the Australian MotoGP, the Tour de France, the World Surf League, the Melbourne Cup Carnival, the Australian Open, and Wimbledon Championships.[6][7]

While at Network 10, Kelly co-hosted Sports Tonight (Australian TV program) and read the sport on the weekend editions of 10 News First.[8]

Kelly was born in Mackay, Queensland.[8]

In October 2013, Kelly became engaged to South African cricketer Morne Morkel. [9] They were married on 6 December 2014.[10] They now have two sons.[11]
