Rooppura is a small village of 346 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rooppura depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 215.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rooppura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rooppura's pin code is 333033[4], and village code is 00705800. The area of Rooppura is segregated as 215 hectares irrigated area, 107 hectares unirrigated, remaining 24 hectare area not available for cultivation.
