Rooparel is a small village of 323 hectares in Chhabra Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rooparel depends on Chhabra, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 126.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Rooparel is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rooparel's pin code is 325220[4], and village code is 03946500. The area of Rooparel is segregated as 126 hectares irrigated area, 118 hectares unirrigated, the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.
