Roongri is a small village of 947 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Roongri depends on Rani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 51.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Roongri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Roongri's pin code is 306502[4], and village code is 02457700. The area of Roongri is segregated as 96 hectares irrigated area, 125 hectares unirrigated, the 492 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 234 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rani and Pali to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
