Roodri is a small village of 593 hectares in Kapasan Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Roodri depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 130.16% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Roodri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Roodri's pin code is 312202[4], and village code is 03630600. The area of Roodri is segregated as 130.16 hectares irrigated area, 153.85 hectares unirrigated, the 134 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 175.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kapasan and Chittorgarh to sell earthen pot and make their living.
