Roodkali is a small village of 1517 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Roodkali depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 15.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Roodkali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Roodkali's pin code is 342027[4], and village code is 01969700. The area of Roodkali is segregated as 15 hectares irrigated area, 1317 hectares unirrigated, the 87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 98 hectare area not available for cultivation.
