Ronald Tetzlaff (born 1958) is a German physicist and professor for electrical engineering. He currently holds the Chair for Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering at TU Dresden and is the Chief Officer for Technological Transfer and Internationalisation at TU Dresden.[1]
Early Life and Education
From 1979 to 1998, Ronald Tetzlaff studied physics at the Goethe University Frankfurt in Frankfurt/Main, Germany (diploma 1985, Ph.D 1990, Habilitation 1998). [1].
In 2008, Tetzlaff became a professor and chair for fundamentals of electrical engineering at the Technical University (TU) in Dresden.
In 2016, he co-founded the Leon Chua.
From 2013 until 2015, he was vice faculty director of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Faculty of TU Dresden. From 2016 until 2020, he was the faculty director of the same faculty.
Since 2019, he is a member of the Steering Commitee of the Else Kröner-Fresenius Center for Digital Health at TU Dresden and in 2020, he became the speaker of engineering sciences at TU Dresden. Since August 2020, he is Chief Officer for Technological Transfer and Internationalization at TU Dresden[2].
Work
His work focus mainly on the field of memristor, cellular neural network network theory and signal theory. He co-authored more than 150 publications and won several scientific awards throughout his career[3].
