Romain Dallemand is an American educator. Dallemand is the former Superintendent of Bibb County Schools in Bibb County, Georgia where he served as superintendent from 2011 to 2013.[1] His tenure in Bibb County was plagued with controversy from the start. Including the implementation of Mandarin language into the curriculum, an ambitious project deemed the Macon Miracle, and numerous questionable expenses. [2] In 2015, Dallemand sued the Bibb County School District for $10 million dollars claiming the district violated terms of his severance agreement with the district. The following year the Bibb School District countersued Dallemand claiming committed fraud and Racketeering against the school district as well as spending millions of dollars of the school districts funds without the approval of the school board.[3] In 2017 Dallemand pleaded guilty to filing a false tax return for 2012, under-reporting his income and over-reporting his itemized deductions.
