Rolland-Pierre B. Chalifoux (born July 19, 1990) is a Canadian entrepreneur known for his significant contributions to the cannabis processing industry and his leadership within the business community of Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. As the founder and CEO of Nuances MJ, Chalifoux has been instrumental in establishing one of Quebec's largest cannabis preroll's processing manufacturers.[1]
Career
Chalifoux's career began in the agricultural processing industry, where he amassed over 13 years of experience. He later transitioned into the financial sector before founding Nuances MJ in 2019.[2] Under his leadership, the company became the sole producer of rolled joints in Quebec, operating out of a repurposed prison in Sorel.[3]
In 2017, Chalifoux first announced his intentions to enter the cannabis industry. After a rigorous process, Nuances MJ obtained its cannabis processing license from Health Canada.[4] Chalifoux's expertise in product transformation, gained from his time in the family-owned dairy business Chalifoux, proved pivotal in identifying and filling a gap in the cannabis processing market. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Rolland-Pierre B. Chalifoux contributes to the broader cannabis industry through his role with professional associations.
