Rohisara is a small village of 552 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rohisara depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 17.50% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rohisara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rohisara's pin code is 341031[4], and village code is 01861200. The area of Rohisara is segregated as 79 hectares irrigated area, 266 hectares unirrigated, the 81.43 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 126.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell lather shoes and make their living.
