Rohisa is a small village of 1991 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rohisa depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 320.17% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rohisa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Rohisa's pin code is 341513[4], and village code is 01842400. The area of Rohisa is segregated as 845.44 hectares irrigated area, 1029.73 hectares unirrigated, the 22.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 94.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell lather shoes and make their living.
