Roger Lewis Bansemer (born July 25, 1948) is an American painter, art instructor and television host. With his wife, Sarah, he is the co-creator and co-host of Painting and Travel with Roger and Sarah Bansemer, an instructional television program that airs on PBS and Create TV in the United States. Bansemer grew up in Clearwater, FL, and later attended the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota. While in college, Bansemer worked as a sign painter. Bansemer is best known for his figurative paintings of landscapes, shorebirds, wildlife, beachscapes, and nautical themes, though he has also produced abstract works.[1]
