Rodrick Cliche is an American musician and record producer from Charleston, South Carolina.[1]

Cliche released the album Zero Point Energy in 2020.[2][3] The album has 14 tracks and includes work with Wolfgang Zimmerman and Charlton Singleton.[2]

Cliche co-founded Native Son with Benny Starr in 2020.[4] Native Son released the single "The Land" and the concert film Restoration.[5]

Cliche co-produced Dorinda Clark-Cole's album Living It in 2015.[6] He played keyboards on Needtobreathe's album Hard Love in 2016.[7]

Cliche was keyboardist on D'Angelo's The Second Coming Tour in 2015.[8] He was keyboardist at D'Angelo's 2022 Netflix Is a Joke festival show.[8]

Cliche co-wrote and arranged Brandon Lake's single "Hard Fought Hallelujah" in 2024.[9] The song reached number one on Billboard Hot Christian Songs and was certified platinum.[9] The album King of Hearts (2025) received Grammy nominations.[10]

Cliche & Four20s opened for Wilder Woods in 2019.[11]
