Rocket Science is an international film and television sales and financing company based in London, England.

History

Founded in 2016 by Thorsten Schumacher, Rocket Science sources pre-sales, equity, gap financing and worldwide marketing and distribution for feature films and television.,[1]

Schumacher was formerly Managing Director at Hanway Films, and has overseen sales of more than 100 films, including Academy Award nominees Carol directed by Todd Haynes starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, John Crowley's Brooklyn starring Saoirse Ronan and Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson's Anomalisa. Other films include Steve McQueen's Shame starring Michael Fassbender, Quartet, and Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths starring Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell.
