Early Life and Education
Roberto J. Argüello[2] was born and raised in Managua, Nicaragua. He attended The Governor's Academy for his postgraduate preparatory school degree. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1976 and later completed his Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 1979.

He worked on the Northern Trust Interamerican Bank merger with Security Trust, creating a new national bank in the Florida market. Argüello then directed the market growth strategy and expansion of services as Vice President of Northern Trust Bank of Florida in Miami. Grupo LAFISE
In 1997, Arguello joined Grupo LAFISE, a Central American full-service banking and financial services institution. Satuple
