Robert Greenock began his career at st Johnstone were he failed to make a single appearance in a st Johnstone team who had international players like George o Boyle Danny griffin and Alan main
Albion Rovers The defender moved to Albion rovers in July of 97 and finally made his debut on the 27 of December at Hampden Park in a 4-2 win against against Queen’s Park. Greenock went on to make eighteen appearances that season one which was most notable was a Scottish cup clash against hearts in front of a crowd of 12634 losing 3-0 to the eventual winners. Robert was known as a hard tackling no nonsense defender and this was shown in his disciplinary record were he picked up eleven yellow cards and three reds.
