Road and Rail Services is a Logistics and Transportation Support service that services railroads across the United States of America.
History
In 1987, brothers Tom and Pete Gerstle founded Road and Rail services[1] to provide transportation and logistical support to railroads in Kentucky. The company was founded to originally perform inspections on intermodal trailers. By 1990, the company expanded to include 110 employees and performing mechanical work on rail cars[2]. Since 1987, the company has expanded to over 1500 employees across 17 states. The company has a broad range of inspections and responsibilities such as mainline maintenance andFRA compliant maintenance[3] and two countries (Australia and the United Kingdom).
As of 2020, the company's revenue is over $300 Million.
