Riyan Bari is a small village of 2487 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Riyan Bari depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1042.45% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Riyan Bari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Riyan Bari's pin code is 341513[4], and village code is 01845300. The area of Riyan Bari is segregated as 1042.45 hectares irrigated area, 737.76 hectares unirrigated, the 263.63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 415.57 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell gulkand and make their living.
