River Light FC will be an Semi-Professial American Soccer team based off in Aurora, Illinois and will have their debut on 2024 in the USL League 2 and the USL W League, both being in the 4th tier of the American soccer pyramid.[1]
The team doesn't have an official stadium, logo, or kit yet, and the club is owned by Chad Swieca, Heather Bickerton, And Charlie Latshaw III.[2]
History
On October 3rd, 2023, The USL announced that River Light will be joining the USL League 2, and the USL W League (USL Woman League) in 2024.[2] The team has no roster yet, with tryouts being on November 20th, December 29th, and January 6th,[3] with the final roster being put out to the public in early 2024.[2]
