Rikarlai is a small village of 1266 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rikarlai depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rikarlai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Rikarlai's pin code is 344022[4], and village code is 02137000. The area of Rikarlai is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area, 1199 hectares unirrigated, the 51 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 4 hectare area not available for cultivation.
