Riddhima Kapoor Sahni (born 15 September 1980) is an Indian fashion designer, entrepreneur, and emerging actress. She is the daughter of legendary Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, and the sister of acclaimed actor Ranbir Kapoor. Known for her refined aesthetic and creative flair, Riddhima is the founder and creative head of the luxury jewellery brand R Jewellery by Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Having gained visibility through her appearance in the Netflix reality series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives (Season 3), she is now stepping into the film industry, marking her Bollywood debut in 2025. Apart from her entrepreneurial and artistic pursuits, she is also active on social media, where she shares insights into her personal life, wellness routines, and work updates.[1]
Early life and family background
Riddhima Kapoor was born on September 15, 1980, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. She is the granddaughter of legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor and part of the fifth generation of the Kapoor film dynasty. Her younger brother is acclaimed Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor. Although born into one of India’s most recognized film families, Riddhima chose to stay away from acting.
Education
She completed her schooling at New Era High School, Panchgani, and later moved to the United Kingdom for higher education. Kapoor Sahni graduated with a degree in design and marketing from the American InterContinental University in London.
Career
Modeling
In the mid-2000s, Riddhima appeared in several modeling campaigns, most notably for Notandas, a prestigious jewelry brand. She was featured in print advertisements and fashion editorials, gaining attention for her sense of style and elegance.[2]
Fashion and jewelry design
In 2016, Kapoor Sahni launched her own jewelry label, R Jewelry, in partnership with her mother, Neetu Singh. The brand caters to high-end clients and features contemporary and traditional Indian jewelry designs. She has since established herself as a prominent designer in India’s luxury fashion space, often showcasing her collections at fashion events and through celebrity collaborations. She has also collaborated with Indian fashion designers and has been recognized for her business acumen in the lifestyle sector.[3]
Personal life
Riddhima married Bharat Sahni, a Delhi-based businessman, in 2006. The couple has one daughter, Samara Sahni, born in 2011. Riddhima resides in New Delhi and frequently visits Mumbai for family and business commitments. Despite not being part of the film industry, she remains closely connected with Bollywood through family ties and social engagements.[4]

Although not active in films, Riddhima has been featured on various talk shows, lifestyle programs, and magazine covers.
