Rick Roy Foster (born November 1963) is an American actor, writer, journalist, human rights advocate, refugee resettlement negotiator, real estate entrepreneur, and political figure. He was born into a family with five generations living in Orange County, California.

Early Life and Acting Career

Foster began his acting career as a child actor in the 1970s, appearing in films like Disney's Amy alongside Margaret O'Brien and Lucile Benson. He also worked regularly in commercials and print advertising during his childhood. As an adult he has appeared in commercials alongside LeBron James and others.

Business Career

After graduating from college in 1989, Foster transitioned into the real estate industry. He founded several successful real estate property management companies, sales firms, and investment companies over the years. His real estate ventures allowed him to build a lucrative business career.

Advocacy Work

Answering a call from members of Congress, Foster founded the non-profit organization "You Are Safe Here" where he continues advocating for safe places for the resettlement of at-risk refugees. His work focuses on supporting human rights and negotiating refugee policies.
