Richard Johnson (born May 1, 1968) is an American businessman, widely known as the CEO of ViaQuest, an Ohio-based healthcare company.[1]

Early life and education

Johnson was born on May 1, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio. At the age of 4, he moved to Marysville, Ohio where he lived until he graduated from Marysville High School in 1986. He received his Bachelor's Degree in accounting from Capital University in 1992.[2]

Career

Johnson started his career in 1986 as a financial accountant at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was honorably discharged from service in 1990.[3] Later that year, he started working as a Senior Healthcare Consultant at Nachtrab, Cousino, O'Neil, and Treuhaft (NCOT), an accounting and healthcare firm.

In December 1994, Johnson left NCOT to work for Mike Levenson who owned The Mike An Group out of Cincinnati, Ohio to be the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Development. Later, in 1998 he became the President of the Mike An Group.[4] In 1999, Johnson started his own health care and social services company named, ViaQest Inc.[5]

He is a board member of the Center for Christian Virtue (CCV), the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, and the Ohio Business Roundtable (OBRT). He is active in the Ohio Healthcare Association.

He is also the member of Rock City Church and is a support of Tree of Life Christian Schools.
